With every release, we focus on a theme – and for this one, we’ve centred on the experience of Exploring. Over the past few months, it has been exciting to see people around the world use Burpple to journal their food experiences from their favourite local places and on their travels. Today, we are unleashing the power of these food experiences from every individual journal, and making it available for every Burpple user to explore.
Introducing Burpple Explore- a real and trustworthy way to explore the food of the world through the experiences of friends, family and local experts. You can now discover what's good to eat nearby, or in the city you are traveling to- right from your fingertips. If you’re having trouble deciding what to order, Burpple can now suggest which restaurant you're at and you’ll instantly be able to see what others have eaten. To couple that up, we are also unveiling a brand new Place profile. Food moments of places are now showcased in either a grid or feed view.
We are also introducing a brand new way to find friends and like-minded food lovers. You can now discover friends and Burpplers around you, and search from your WeChat, Facebook, Twitter and your address book. You will never feel lost again, whether you're in Bangkok, Moscow or Quezon City. If you intend to travel or if you’re simply curious, you can discover what’s good in the destination of your choice by simply moving the map and hitting “Search this area”. You will be able to explore all the food moments from that city, and discover what you would like to try the next time you visit.

We have made it extremely simple for you to find out what's great in the restaurant you're at. Can’t decide between the eggs benedict or the French toast? Burpple will instantly suggest the name of the restaurant you’re at, and show you what other users have eaten and liked.
These delicious food experiences are all showcased in a newly designed grid view, and you can also toggle to a feed view to see likes, comments and reburps at a single glance. Deciding what to order has become so much simpler with beautiful photos and real experiences from users you can trust.
Find Friends and Likeminded Food Lovers
Finding friends and likeminded food lovers is now a breeze. You can now discover other Burpple users near you, based on distance. Besides Facebook, you can now find fellow Burpplers from your address book, Twitter and even WeChat!
Imagine you have just arrived in Bangkok for a holiday, and you have no idea where to eat. You can now search for Burpple users in Bangkok, and browse through their local food moments. You will never feel lost in a foreign city again, whether you're in Bangkok, Moscow or Quezon City.

We have now made it super easy to invite all your food loving friends on WeChat, Facebook, Twitter & your address book to use Burpple - with just one click. Your friends will receive a notification and a link to download the app. The time has come for you to share your food experiences with friends and family, and to plan for many more in the future.
