Funding Announcement
We are also excited to announce that Burpple has received a USD$500,000 seed funding led by Neoteny Labs, along with the National Research Foundation and QuestVC. Neoteny Labs, led by Mr James Chan, brings a depth of experience in investing and growing early stage startups in Japan and Asia-Pacific region. They have also invested in growing global companies like Path and Viki. QuestVC, led by Mr James Tan, also the co-founder of 55tuan, brings a wealth of knowledge to our growth strategy in China and Southeast Asia. We are excited about the opportunities in China, and our deep integrations there have accelerated our growth.

"The seed funding will empower Burpple to accelerate the building of a world-class product team and scale the growth opportunities across a variety of markets and platforms on the mobile and on the web. We have some groundbreaking stuff in the pipeline that will change the way people experience food throughout the world." - Mr Dixon Chan, Co-founder of Burpple.
"Food and meals are an integral part of our daily routine. The individual's relationship with the dishes he or she has eaten or would like to try remains a white space that hasn't been properly addressed by any service or app. I've watched the Burpple team go from strength to strength as they translated their initial idea into execution, and am proud to be both an avid foodie user and an investor." - Mr James Chan, Principal of Neoteny Labs.
This marks a significant milestone in the short but fruitful journey of Burpple. It validates the vision of Burpple and provides us with the resources to continue pursuing it.
